What changed in the latest version
37 added · 84 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of HB 1106 retains much of the original language regarding the structure of the board of trustees for junior college districts, specifically detailing the appointment process. However, it now focuses solely on bringing forward the existing laws for potential amendments rather than amending them outright or adding new sections. This change matters because it signals that lawmakers may be looking to evaluate and possibly update the rules governing trustee selection without making immediate alterations, allowing for further discussion and consideration in the future.
