Plain-language change summary

The latest version of SB 2990 has been updated to extend eligibility for a tax credit for establishing qualified alternative-fuel fueling stations through 2022, rather than just 2021. Additionally, the percentage of the credit has been reduced from 75% to 50% of the installation costs. The overall cap on credits has also been lowered from $25 million to $9 million over the three-year period. These changes aim to manage the state's budget more effectively while still encouraging investment in alternative fuel infrastructure.
