The bill SB 2340 has been amended to change the eligibility dates for receiving historic rehabilitation credits. Previously, the deadline was set for December 31, 2024, but it has now been moved up to December 31, 2021. This earlier deadline means that property owners looking to receive credit for renovations will need to act more quickly, which could encourage faster preservation efforts in the state. The change aims to align the program with current needs and expedite the benefits for property restorations.
