The revisions to Bill SB 2928 included changes in funding allocations for various organizations. Notably, the amount designated for the Office of Mississippi Physician Workforce decreased from $1,425,000 to $1,382,250, while funding for the Center of Excellence at the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children increased from $1,391,750 to $1,349,998. The total funding for the MIND Center at the University of Mississippi Medical Center was also reduced from $3,000,000 to $2,950,000. These adjustments are significant as they shift financial resources between healthcare initiatives, potentially impacting the services these organizations can provide.
