Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to SB 2764 clarify that applicants with certain health conditions affecting communication with law enforcement can receive specialized license plates and stickers on their vehicles, with a certified physician's or psychologist's support. Importantly, the changes ensure that the applicant can have these indicators on multiple vehicles, and the confidentiality of their medical information is firmly upheld. Overall, this legislation aims to promote better communication between law enforcement and individuals who may have difficulty verbally interacting due to their conditions, enhancing safety for everyone involved.
