Plain-language change summary

The amendment to Bill HC 86 removes the provision that allowed the legislature to reconvene specifically to reconsider vetoed bills. It also clarifies that there will no longer be an alternate date for the end of the 2020 regular session. These changes simplify the legislative process and ensure a definitive conclusion to the session without extending it unnecessarily, which is important for planning and efficiency in governance.
