The changes to HB 1658 reflect a reduction in funding for the Grand Gulf Military Monument from approximately $277,772 to $275,091 for the fiscal year 2019-2020. Additionally, the revised bill no longer includes provisions for a potential 3% pay increase for full-time employees related to the Variable Compensation Plan. These adjustments are significant as they indicate a shift in budget priorities and could impact funding availability for agency personnel.
