The amendment to Bill HB 958 now includes a provision that establishes the bill will automatically end on June 30, 2019. This change means that the bill will only be in effect for one year, providing a limited time frame for its provisions. This is important because it allows lawmakers to evaluate the bill's impact before deciding to renew or modify it in the future.
