Plain-language change summary

The amendment to HB 321 adds a specific provision allowing bonds issued under this act to be called for payment and redemption by the State of Mississippi at set prices and dates, which wasn’t included in the original version. This change matters because it provides more flexibility for the state in managing its debt obligations, potentially allowing it to save money on interest payments if the bonds are redeemed early. Overall, these adjustments can help improve financial oversight and efficiency concerning state-issued bonds.
