The recent amendments to House Joint Resolution 41 involve the removal of the Illinois Planning Council on Developmental Disabilities from the list of agencies tasked with assessing assistance programs for individuals affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). This change simplifies the collaboration efforts by focusing on a more streamlined group of stakeholders, which may improve efficiency in gathering feedback from the community. Additionally, the deadline for the report remains unchanged, ensuring that recommendations for better service provision are still timely and relevant for the Governor and General Assembly.
