The amendment to Bill HB 2011 changes the schedule for financial transfers from the State's General Revenue Fund to education funds. Instead of transferring 1/24 of the budget amount in July, the bill now specifies transfers of 1/22 of the amount on the 11th and 21st of each month from August to June. This adjustment increases the amount of money distributed to school districts and provides a more consistent flow of funding during the school year. This change is significant as it aims to provide schools with more timely and adequate financial resources to support their operations.
