Summary
Amends the School Code. What changed in the latest version
9 added · 27 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of HB 3377 adds a provision that ensures pupils enrolled in early education programs do not count against schools when calculating the number of students eligible for state reimbursement, provided these students are transported along with others. Previously, the bill had not clearly specified this condition. This change is important because it helps schools receive funding for all eligible students without being penalized for including early education program participants in their pupil counts, which can lead to better resources and support for younger learners.
