What changed in the latest version
186 added · 202 removedPlain-language change summary
In the updated version of SB 62, the provisions related to air rifles have been modified. The new bill designates assaults and batteries involving air rifles as aggravated offenses, which means they carry more severe penalties. Additionally, it removes the $50 maximum fine for non-dealer violations of the Air Rifle Act. These changes matter because they aim to enhance safety and accountability regarding the use of air rifles, particularly in the context of violent acts.
