What changed in the latest version

The revised version of SB 20 adds new provisions regarding jury selection in Illinois. Specifically, it requires that people claiming an earned income tax credit can now be included on jury lists, and it mandates that jury lists in Cook County be updated annually rather than every four years. This change could lead to a more diverse jury pool and a more efficient jury selection process, making it easier for courts to fulfill their obligations.
