The amendment to Bill HB 1080 includes new language that specifies penalties for individuals involved with gangs who use motor vehicles while committing their offenses. It clarifies that these individuals will be denied a driver’s license or permit for a duration determined by the court. This is significant because it aims to deter gang-related activities involving vehicles, enhancing public safety and accountability for those offenses.
