The updated version of HB 324 replaces some language about how fees collected by the State are communicated to payers. The original requirement for notification has been clarified, ensuring that individuals who pay fees are informed about how their payments are used at the time of payment. This change is important because it enhances transparency and allows citizens to be more aware of the financial processes involving state fees.
