What changed in the latest version
24 added · 46 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of Bill SB 57 added language to clearly define "energy-related agribusiness," specifically including facilities that process agricultural products, vegetable oils, and animal fats. It also establishes state guarantees for loans to these businesses, with set limits and provisions for regular reviews. This change is important because it aims to support the growth of renewable energy sources and boost the agricultural economy by providing financial backing for businesses that contribute to sustainable energy production.
