The recent amendments to HB 5865 now require insurers with comprehensive major medical coverage that serves over 500 people to submit an annual supplemental report detailing their premium and loss data. This information must be presented in a way that maintains confidentiality regarding individual providers. These changes are significant as they enhance transparency in health insurance practices and provide regulators with better tools to monitor and manage health coverage in the state.
