What changed in the latest version

The changes in HB 983 involve updating the version of the bill from "Engrossed" to "Enrolled." While the content itself doesn't appear to have changed, this shift signifies that the bill has completed its legislative process and is now finalized, ready to be sent for signing into law. This is an important step because it indicates that the bill has been approved by the legislature and is closer to becoming a formal law.
