What changed in the latest version

The recent amendment to Bill SB 2009 requires that yield signs be installed at all highway intersections with grade crossings that lack automatic warning devices. In addition, it provides the option for stop signs to be used instead, based on an engineering study, and mandates temporary stop signs until proper signals are installed if ordered by the Commission. This change emphasizes safety by ensuring that road users are better alerted to potential train crossings at these intersections, which can help prevent accidents.
