What changed in the latest version

The latest version of Bill HB 2248 has been amended to clarify the definition of a "home nursing agency." The bill specifies that such an agency can deliver skilled nursing and home health aide services directly or through a placement agency, while excluding individually licensed nurses acting as private contractors. This change is important as it helps to establish clear guidelines for home nursing agencies, ensuring proper regulation and oversight in the delivery of home health services. Additionally, it restricts the Governor's authority to implement rules related to these services, which could affect how these agencies operate moving forward.
