Plain-language change summary

The updated version of SB 2505 includes new lines that clarify that the Department of Children and Family Services will collaborate with voluntary residential service providers to create a contract model that fully covers the costs of care. It also states that this new funding model and program requirements must be in place for various state agencies using these services. This change is significant because it aims to ensure that residential providers are adequately funded, which could lead to better care for children in these programs.
