Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill HB 574 has added a member representing school administrators to the Task Force and specified the timeline for reporting findings and recommendations to the Governor and other officials. Previously, the report was due by March 1, 2006, but now it’s framed as a continuing annual report, which suggests a need to regularly reassess the protections in place for social security numbers. These changes aim to enhance oversight and adapt to the evolving challenges of data privacy and security.
