Plain-language change summary

The amendment to Bill HB 151 now specifies that only active-duty military members are eligible for a free hunting license, rather than including veterans as well. This change likely aims to streamline the benefits specifically for those currently serving in the armed forces. By limiting the exemption to active-duty personnel, the bill focuses resources and support where they may be most needed at present, which can prompt discussion around hunting fees for veterans in the future.
