What changed in the latest version
198 added · 265 removedPlain-language change summary
The recent amendment to HB 3 removes the section specifying available damages and the right of intervention for members of the legislature. By eliminating these elements, the bill focuses more on prohibiting regulations against pregnancy centers without outlining specific legal repercussions for those who might challenge the law. This change could mean a more streamlined approach to protecting these centers from governmental oversight, but it may also limit the avenues for those who would seek accountability in how these centers operate.
