Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Bill SF 2 extends the appropriations for the operation of the Wyoming legislature from June 30, 2026, to June 30, 2028. This change is significant because it ensures that the legislative branch has secured funding for an additional two years, which allows for better planning and stability in managing its operations and salaries. By providing carryover provisions for certain funds, it also enables the legislature to utilize these resources more flexibly beyond the standard budget period.
