Plain-language change summary

The latest version of House Bill 1916 specifies that a registered voter can only challenge another voter's right to vote if they are from the same county. It also emphasizes that challenges must be based on personal knowledge, meaning they must come from firsthand experience or observation of the facts. This matters because it aims to ensure that only informed and credible challenges are made against a voter's registration, thereby protecting the integrity of the voting process.
