Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill HB 1079 changes the start date for certain school district requirements from the 2027-28 school year to the 2026-27 school year. Additionally, the deadline for the superintendent's office to act has been moved up by a year, now set for April 1, 2026. This change is significant because it means that schools will have to implement the new requirements sooner, which could potentially lead to faster improvements in the educational system.
