Plain-language change summary

The revised version of Bill SB 5985 has made some key changes, primarily shifting the starting date for the establishment of an online resource center about endometriosis from July 1, 2027, to July 1, 2028. This change allows additional time for the University of Washington and Washington State University, along with other stakeholders, to gather comprehensive information related to endometriosis awareness and care. Additionally, the updated bill does not include the requirement for the resource center to be updated every three years and to hold stakeholder meetings during updates. These modifications may impact the frequency of information refresh and stakeholder engagement, which is crucial for keeping resources relevant and effective.
