This bill died with 2015-2016 Regular Session. It reached “In Committee” and never advanced before the session ended, so it can no longer move — a new version would have to be reintroduced in the current session.
This bill is no longer active — its legislative session has ended, so there are no live odds of enactment. It would have to be reintroduced in the current session to move again.
Summary
Existing law, the Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act, requires each California regional water quality control board, after any necessary hearing, to prescribe waste discharge requirements to implement relevant water quality control plans, and authorizes the State Water Resources Control Board, after any necessary hearing, to prescribe waste discharge requirements, as specified. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.
