Summary
The State Contracting Act governs state contracts for public works projects and requires that a contract be rewarded to the lowest responsible bidder, as specified. This act requires contracts awarded by state agencies to be submitted to the Attorney General or the appointed attorney as specified, and provides that the contract is not binding on the state until the attorney finds it to be in accordance with the act. This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to that provision.
