The amendments to Senate Resolution 2081 include the removal of a line that specifically mentioned Andy Burrell's support for his daughter Sarah's dance competitions and her academic achievements. Instead, the resolution has been refocused to celebrate his broader contributions and family life. This change matters because it emphasizes Burrell's lengthy history of service and personal impact on his community and country, while also honoring his legacy as a family man, rather than focusing on one aspect of his parenting.
