The amendment to Bill HJR 26 adds specific language regarding the process for adopting procedures and evidence rules by the Utah Supreme Court. It makes it clear that a two-thirds vote from all members of the Legislature is required for such actions. This change is significant because it ensures a higher level of legislative approval and scrutiny for rules related to machine-generated evidence, potentially enhancing accountability and oversight in legal proceedings.
