S.R.ANo.A1 SENATE RESOLUTION WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and commemorates the lives of the more than 130 people who perished tragically in the catastrophic flash flooding in the Lone Star State over the Fourth of July holiday weekend;

and WHEREAS, Beginning on July 3, 2025, unprecedented rainfall in Central and West Texas caused massive flooding and destruction along many major waterways;

and WHEREAS, As a result of the devastation, a state and federal disaster was declared and federal public assistance was approved for residents of Burnet, Coke, Concho, Edwards, Hamilton, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Lampasas, Llano, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, Real, Reeves, San Saba, Schleicher, Sutton, Tom Green, Travis, and WilliamsonACounties;
