heand wentWHEREAS , The son of William Ivery and Omergene Sims, Harry Sims was born on toApril work3, for1951, Keller’sand Creamerygrew forup 33Ayears;sharing in the companionship of three sisters, Shirley, Barbara, and Linda, and a brother, Danny;
andhe WHEREAS,went Onon Marchto 30,work 2001,for Mr.ASimsKeller’ marrieds theCreamery formerfor Sherri33Ayears; Hankins, and the couple shared a rewarding union that spanned nearly a quarter century;
and WHEREAS , On March 30, 2001, Mr.ASims married the former Sherri Hankins, and the couple shared a rewarding union that spanned nearly a quarter century;
and WHEREAS,WHEREAS , Although Harry Sims is deeply missed, he has left his family and friends with a wealth of memories that they will forever treasure;
now, therefore, be it RESOLVED,RESOLVED , That the Senate of the 89thState Texasof Texas, 89th Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of Harry James Sims and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family:
to his sons, Derrik Harris and his wife, Diana 89S20455 EME-D 1 S.R.ANo.A18 Debase, Chudney Beard and his wife, Kawanda, and Lance Hankins and his wife, Misti;
to his daughters, Lakendra "Chere" Smith and her husband, Royce, MoniqueS.R. Roland Lewis and her husband, Jerome, Staci Hill and her husband, Steven, and Kaci Hankins and her husband, D.AD.ABerry;
