her selection as a recipient of a Dean Weese Outstanding Coach award and her notable achievements are a source of pride to her colleagues, the Coastal Bend community, and the Lone Star State, and it is truly fitting that she receive 2025S0477-1 08/13/25 1 S.R.ANo.A20 recognition on her exemplary contributions to Alice High School and Texas athletics;
her selection as a recipient of a Dean Weese Outstanding Coach award and her notable achievements are a source of pride to her colleagues, the Coastal Bend community, and the Lone Star State, and it is truly fitting that she receive recognition on her exemplary contributions to Alice High School and Texas athletics;
now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Mari Santos on her distinguished coaching career and extend to her congratulations on being named the 2025 Class 5A Dean Weese Outstanding Coach;
