Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Bill S 606 allows individuals in South Carolina who had an auctioneer's license that expired, but were in good standing at the time of expiration, to renew their license if they are at least 65 years old and have held the license for 25 years or more. This is significant because it offers a new opportunity for seasoned auctioneers to maintain their professional status without the need for continuing education, which could ease the transition for older professionals looking to return to the industry.
