The recent changes to Bill H 4658 expand upon the exemptions from certain licensing requirements to include the installation, repair, or maintenance of billboard structures. Previously, these activities were not explicitly mentioned, which may have caused confusion about whether they required specific licenses. This amendment is important because it clarifies the legal requirements for working on billboards, ensuring that anyone involved in such work understands that they must secure an electrical license for final connections, improving safety and compliance in this area of construction.
