AN ACT CONCERNING THE BOLTON LAKES REGIONAL WATER POLLUTION CONTROL AUTHORITY.
(b) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (c) of section 22a- 500 of the general statutes, subdivision (14) of subsection (a) of section 22a-501 of the general statutes or subsection (b) of section 22a-517 of the general statutes, any regulation adopted by the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection pursuant to subsection (l) of section 22a-424 of the general statutes, any ordinance adopted by the SB701 / File No.
(b) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (c) of section 22a- of the general statutes, subdivision (14) of subsection (a) of section 22a-501 of the general statutes or subsection (b) of section 22a-517 of the general statutes, any regulation adopted by the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection pursuant to subsection (l) of section 22a-424 of the general statutes, any ordinance adopted by the towns of Bolton, Vernon, Manchester or Coventry, including any amendment to such ordinance, and any agreement entered into pursuant to any such provision, the board of directors of the Bolton Lakes Regional Water Pollution Control Authority may authorize the Senate Bill No.

701 expansion of such authority's wastewater system into the town of Coventry and may take any action such board deems necessary to implement such expansion.
77 towns of Bolton, Vernon, Manchester or Coventry, including any amendment to such ordinance, and any agreement entered into pursuant to any such provision, the board of directors of the Bolton Lakes Regional Water Pollution Control Authority may authorize the expansion of such authority's wastewater system into the town of Coventry and may take any action such board deems necessary to implement such expansion.

See Below Explanation The bill allows the Bolton Lakes Regional Water Pollution Control Authority to authorize an expansion of their wastewater system into the town of Coventry while exempting the process from certain local and state and laws and regulations.
Any impact to the Bolton Lakes Water Pollution Control Authority and the Town of Coventry will depend on the terms of the agreement facilitated by the bill.
The Out Years The annualized ongoing fiscal impact identified above would continue into the future subject to contract terms.
