AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF EQUITY IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY.
That the Commissioner of Administrative Services be required to conduct a study of the construction industry in the state, to be completed not later than June 30, 2022, to determine the percentage of construction work in both the public and private sectors that is performed by minority and women-owned businesses.

Statement of Purpose:
Not later than June 30, 2022, the commissioner shall submit a report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to government administration containing the findings of such study and any recommended legislative changes.
To determine the percentage of construction work in the state in both the private and public sectors that is performed by minority and women-owned businesses.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
