The amended version of Bill H 4414 now clearly authorizes Palmetto Boys State to use the chambers of the South Carolina Senate and House of Representatives on June 13, 2025, as long as the chambers are not already in use for legislative sessions. This change is important because it establishes specific guidelines for when and how Palmetto Boys State can hold its annual meeting, ensuring that the legislative chambers remain available for their intended purpose while also supporting civic education for young people. Additionally, it includes provisions for adhering to Senate and House policies during the event.
