The recent amendment to Bill S 629 changes the requirements for the sale of modular homes that are used as display models. Specifically, it removes the requirement for the seller to inform the buyer that the home may not meet current code standards. This change is significant because it may simplify the process for selling these homes, but it could also lead to potential safety concerns if the homes do not conform to newer safety codes.
