Plain-language change summary

The amendments to Bill S 363 involve the formal approval of regulations that close access to Deveaux Bank from March 15 to October 15 each year to protect nesting sea and shorebirds. This regulation reinforces existing protections for wildlife, especially following significant erosion and habitat loss caused by recent storms. It is important because it aims to safeguard crucial nesting periods for these bird species, ensuring their survival and the ecological balance of the area.
