The recent amendment to Bill H 4476 adds a provision that requires the South Carolina-Bahamas Trade Commission to hold meetings and hearings at various locations across the state. This change is important because it promotes greater accessibility and transparency, allowing more people to participate in discussions about trade and economic relations between South Carolina and the Bahamas. The amendment removes a previous section of the bill that may have limited the commission's ability to engage with the public effectively.
