  Whereas, the South Carolina House of Representatives is pleased to learn that the members of the Fairfield Central track team captured the state title at the state meet held at Lower Richland High School on May 18, 2024;

Kristian Golden, a long jumper, was the only senior among the sixteen qualifiers, a statistic that leaves the team with potential for coming years;
and   Whereas, the Griffin's sophomore Jaden Boyd won three individual gold medals at the meet, and he ran a leg on a second-place relay team and produced thirty-two of his team's gold medal points.

  Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Dr.
Tracie Swilley, principal, and to Coach Raymond Harrison.
