Plain-language change summary

The recent update to Bill H 3575 adds a new definition for "Pharmacy Services Administrative Organization" (PSAO) and refines the criteria for what constitutes a "specialized delivery drug." The description of PSAOs emphasizes their role in managing contracts with third-party payers on behalf of pharmacies. Additionally, the criteria for specialized delivery drugs now include qualities that highlight their complexity and the serious medical conditions they address, specifying the potential for these conditions to be progressive or fatal if not treated properly. These changes aim to clarify these terms and ensure that regulatory language aligns more closely with current healthcare practices.
