Plain-language change summary

The amended version of Bill SB 65 updates specific language related to traffic offenses and the associated points assigned to drivers. Notably, it clarifies both the offenses and the points system but also removes some details on particular violations, like failing to stop for a red or flashing light. This change matters because it aims to streamline the penal system for traffic violations, ensuring that the rules are easier to follow and understand, which could lead to better compliance from drivers.
