Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to Bill SB 698 clarify the processes for acquiring and disposing of buildings and sites for school use in Pennsylvania. Notably, it now explicitly includes provisions applicable to charter schools, ensuring they are covered by the same rules regarding property acquisition as traditional public schools. This change matters because it promotes consistency in how all types of schools can secure the facilities they need, which can help address educational needs in the community.
