The recent amendment to Bill SB 576 updates the tax rate structure by removing the indefinite continuation clause. Previously, it stated that a specific tax rate would apply for each calendar year after 1992, but now it's been revised to indicate that the exact rates will no longer automatically apply each year going forward. This change is significant because it could lead to future adjustments or re-evaluations of tax rates, meaning institutions may need to stay attentive to any changes in legislation that could affect their tax obligations.
