The proposed amendments to Bill HB 707 include reducing the required size of nursing parents' rooms in Commonwealth-owned buildings from 80 square feet to 50 square feet, while also removing requirements for visual and sound privacy and a waste receptacle. These changes may make it easier and more cost-effective for facilities to accommodate nursing parents, but they could also limit the space and privacy that these rooms offer. Overall, the focus seems to be on practicality and accessibility, which is important for supporting nursing parents in the workplace.
